Unmoved: A Lawson from Boston Thrillah book cover

Lawson from Boston · Book One

Unmoved

A century-old ledger. A billionaire with a secret. A historian who was never supposed to find it.

A former Navy veteran and tactician falls for Alina Morley, an architectural historian fighting to save Boston’s historic landmarks — just as a powerful, corrupt developer turns his crimewave in her direction. To protect her, Lawson must resurrect the part of himself he swore to leave behind, and confront a city built on secrets that never stay buried.

The Novel

Alina Morley spends her days saving Boston’s historic landmarks, one battle at a time.

She’s always underestimated. She’s used to being told a building isn’t worth saving, a fight isn’t worth having. Then a discovery buried in a century-old ledger puts her directly in the path of one of Boston’s most powerful — and most dangerous — men. She was fighting for a building. Then she was fighting for her life. She never expected to fight for love.

The Author

Alvin Wilkins

Alvin Wilkins was born in Philly, raised in Boston, and remains loyal to the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots. Alvin is qualified on five submarines—yes, five—proving he definitely prefers bad coffee to good sun. After leaving the Navy, he worked as a government contractor for a variety of agencies, none of which he can or will confirm or deny. Today, Alvin travels constantly for his publishing company, moving between Boston, Wilmington, D.C., and Hawaii. When he isn't teaching swimming, he is busy writing. Unmoved is his debut release. He lives a life free of big dogs—who are lovely, just not for him.
